Through thinking about how simple shapes can exist within graphic design and inspired by designer's like Wim Crouwel I formed a modular typeface called Shapes. It employs the use of the three most basic geometric shapes - a circle, triangle and square. There are two weights currently, rounded and sharp, each with their different characteristics. Shapes has since been put to use in an abstract publication I created in combination with a mixture of various classic paintings by the likes of Carravagio and Goya.
